NeoTool Enhances NeoIntegrate’s Robust Quality Testing and Validation Features

Seamless Test Environment Enablement, HL7 Conformance Checking, Enhanced Logging, User-Friendly Tutorials

Plano, Texas, July 19, 2005 – NeoTool announces new enhancements to NeoIntegrate™, a robust healthcare interfacing engine. The critical nature of clinical data exchanges dictates that interface test environments can easily be setup. More importantly, testing tools must effectively check message quality prior to release and have the capability to seamlessly move from a testing to a full production.

"The latest release of NeoIntegrate addresses a broad range of testing issues. With this release, our healthcare customers can deliver higher quality interfaces with greater confidence," said Dave Shaver, NeoTool's President and CTO. "The interface testing capabilities and HL7 Conformance Checking features strengthen the quality of developed and deployed healthcare interfaces. NeoTool reinforces and simplifies the testing process with this release."

Several of the new quality features released include real-time error identification as HL7 messages are constructed and unit testing of configurable message logic (e.g., pattern matching). With these features, the HL7 testing process is streamlined and message quality strengthened.

Using logging features to review message history and easily re-send selected messages, if required, is essential in any healthcare interfacing environment. The additional logging features contained in this NeoIntegrate release makes this process concise and configurable, yet easy to use.

NeoTool's objective is to accelerate an HL7 developer or analyst's learning curve by delivering intuitive solutions and tools to support them in their efforts. The tutorials delivered in this release simulate NeoIntegrate as an interface engine interacting with five different receiving systems.
